what is Islam ?
Islam ( in arabic: الإسلام ; Alʾislām ; "submission [to God]" ) is the third & the last monotheist religion. Islam teaches that Allah ( God in Islam ) is merciful, all-powerful and unique, and had guided humanity through prophets, revealed scriptures, and natural signs.
The name of the population in Islam, are named Muslims. We, Muslims, have a sacred book, named Quran.
Religious concepts and practises is include the Five Pillars of Islam, an important subject that we should know.

What is the " Quran " ?
The Quran is the central religious text believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God (speech of God).

What is the " Five Pillars of Islam " ?
The Five Pillars of Islam are an important practise, considered an obligatory acts of worship for all Muslims.
Here is the list of each pillar:
1.Shahada (Declaration of Faith)
2. Salah (Prayer)
3. Zakat (Almsgiving)
4. Sawm (Fasting)
5. Hajj (Pilgrimage)
The Pilgrimage is becoming the least important of the pillars, why though ? Because the pilgrimage consist to go in the Mecca, which is very expensive these days, as the Saudi Arabia is owning the territory where the Mecca is. In the time of Muhammad, the Messenger of God, it was free & every Muslims (poor or rich) can go in there.

About the history of islam, it's really difficult to explain it with my words, as in the point of view of Muslims, it did not start at the beginning of the 7th century.
But if you would like more infos about it, search in Google or ask to Muslims people. It's better to know at least some of our history as it's big and interessant!! :D

Terrorist: Why terrorist is a offensive term to Muslims?

Well, the September 11th 2001, 2 airplanes crashed into the Twin Tours of the World Trade Center. 2 977 persons died that day.
Some medias show Muslims how bad are they & it can give bad rumors about Muslims. As a Muslim, i feel un-comfy when we bring this topic, because, i know, it's a really important subject, but hearing that a group of Islamist doing this horrible act, is just disgusting.
Because some un-educated people can think that Islamist and a Muslim is the same, which is not.
The difference between a Muslim and an Islamist, are their points of views of the religion & the world.
A Muslim is a normal person who is practicing his religion, an Islamist is a person who think that the world must follow our belief.
Sometimes people stereotypes terrorist with beard, which beard is important in Islam for men. Or for example, when they hear someone saying Allah Akbar, they think they gonna bomb the place. WHICH IT'S NOT!!!
Thinking like that is completely wrong, because first, Allah Akbar is a sacred sentence, it meaning is " God is big ", " God is powerful ".
Muzzie: Why muzzie is a offensive term to Muslims?
The slur Muzzie is a shortened version of the word Muslim, used now as a derrogatory " slang ", usually with intent to offend.
Osama: Why Osama is a offensive term to Muslims?

Referring someone to Osama Bin Laden is very offensive, it means that they are an terrorist/islamist, which is hurtful.
Raghead: Why raghead is a offensive term to Muslims?
The slur Raghead is meant to Islamic people that is wearing turban.

Hello hello, welcome to this section! Here you will learn about what you need to know about false informations said on Muslims.
It's important to know your sources! Here is some examples of what would islamophobic medias said about Muslims:> We heard someone that a Muslim man with a beard bombed a place.
Of course, not all of them are like that, and most of the terrorists are young mans around 20-26yo. (Commonly in France)> Someone said Allah Akbar while praying, people thinking they are a terrorist.
This would be the most disgusting rumor i heard... A Muslim who is praying is practicing his RELIGION!!!> etc...There would be a bunch of examples, but this is two example that we could hear. Of course, these are examples, and not the reality! Always ask a Muslim person° before trusting a media.° : well, not all Muslims can know the truth or not, just try to ask and if you get answers, maybe they are helpful! Just always be safe in the internet, cause people can be smart and change the reality.
About terrorism... well, you know a lot with the Offensive terms section! So you don't need more stuff about it!
